    Description

"CocaCola" is a captivating watercolor painting that celebrates the nostalgia and timeless appeal of this iconic beverage. The artwork presents a charming still life composition, featuring a wooden branded Coca-Cola box and a collection of empty, old-style glass bottles.

At the center of the composition rests a weathered wooden Coca-Cola box, bearing the unmistakable logo that has become synonymous with refreshment and America. It serves as a nostalgic symbol, evoking memories of simpler times and cherished moments.

Nestled within the box, a collection of empty Coca-Cola glass bottles takes center stage. Each bottle is a testament to the brand's enduring popularity and the craftsmanship of yesteryears. The artist's delicate brushwork meticulously renders the distinctive shape of the bottles, emphasizing their contours and the play of light and shadow on their surfaces. The bottles stand as silent witnesses to the memories and joy shared over a cold, fizzy drink.
The warm tones evoke a sense of warmth and comfort, reminding viewers of the familiar pleasure of enjoying a Coca-Cola.

The composition invites viewers to reflect on the passage of time and the enduring appeal of cherished traditions. It prompts us to recall memories of sipping cold Coca-Cola on hot summer days, the clinking of glass bottles, and the joyous moments shared with loved ones. It is a gentle reminder of the simple pleasures that bring us together and evoke a sense of nostalgia.

    Concept

I've learned to enjoy the process, that's what I like most about watercolor. I work mainly in the wet-on-wet technique, because that's how watercolor shows its maximum potential. The result is always unpredictable, because the watercolor does half of the work and I like that bit of unpredictability that I can't change. I complete the painting and the painting completes me.

The granularity of the pigments, the undertones, the airiness - that's why I love watercolor. I really like to experiment and paint not only with traditional watercolor tools such as brushes, but also with bags, napkins, sponges, etc. I like to paint on large formats as I feel more free to do so.

The main idea of my art is to give people an opportunity to understand themselves and their attitude by looking at familiar things, to discover simple things anew.

I draw on free subject matter, it's more important for me to feel what I want to depict, whether it's an apple or a street in Italy. I'm interested in exploring color combinations and their effect on people in my work.

I try to capture the essence of what is being portrayed without being too detailed, leaving the viewer free to imagine. I'm inspired by the space around me, the way nature and man live together.
